The 3rd Wikimedia Technology Summit (WTS 2024) is dedicated to leveraging technology to narrow the gap within Wikimedia projects. Our objectives include finding solutions to integrate marginalized communities and languages into these projects, while also fortifying their technical infrastructure. This summit focuses on using technology to bridge the gap in Wikimedia projects and communities. We will explore solutions for including underrepresented communities and languages while strengthening the technical backbone of these projects. By encouraging collaboration between developers, users, and researchers, we aim to solve challenges and make knowledge more accessible in diverse languages. We will also discuss advancements in Wiki technology and exploring ways to increase technical participation from students and Wikipedians.
