  • The Public Policy Advisory Group (publicpolicy lists.wikimedia.org) is an open discussion list about international policy and legal issues, and Wikimedia's role in such issues.
  • The EU policy initiative aimed to promote free knowledge in Europe. In 2022, representatives of 21 affiliates confirmed their commitment to found Wikimedia Europe in order to continue doing so through an association internationale sans but lucratif (AISBL).
