  • What experience do you have participating on committees, within or outside the Wikimedia movement?
    I have over 1 year experience as a committee member outside the Wikimedia movement, I have been on Girl Empowerment Mission-Ghana committee on action plan where we are tasked to design action plan on quartely basis. I have also been a chair of a department week celebration and thankful all were executed successfully.
  • What skills, experience, or perspective would you bring or contribute to the committee, if appointed?
    With four years of active contribution as a Wikimedian, I bring a wealth of experience in community engagement, content creation, and an in-depth understanding of Wikimedia projects. My familiarity with the foundation aspects of Wikimedia, coupled with a commitment to fostering collaboration, positions me to contribute effectively to the affiliation committee. A highly skilled Wikipedia events facilitator and Co-lead for the Moore Wikimedia Community with experience in working on community development projects for indigenous languages, and Wikimedia campaigns such as Wiki Loves Earth, Wiki Loves Folklore, including Art + Feminism programs

    1.As a member of  the Dagbani Wikimedians User I participated and conducted Edit-e-thons.I trained newbies for our community and other Hubs we have establish in various teachers training college . 2.     Recognition: Formal affiliates gain official recognition from the Wikimedia Foundation, which can enhance their credibility and visibility within the movement.
    2. Access to Resources: Affiliates may be eligible for financial and in-kind support to aid in their activities and projects.
    3. Collaboration: Affiliates can collaborate with other affiliates and Wikimedia entities, fostering cross-community partnerships and initiatives.
    4. Governance: Affiliates have a voice in movement governance, contributing to decision-making processes and policies.
    5. Advocacy: Affiliates can advocate for Wikimedia values and the movement's goals on a regional or thematic level.
    6. Support and Mentorship: Affiliates can receive support and mentorship from experienced Wikimedia entities.

    In my Wikimedia journey, I've encountered and successfully resolved conflicts by fostering open communication, active listening, and mediating constructive dialogues within Moore Wikimedia Community . I've actively promoted diversity by advocating for inclusive content, supporting underrepresented voices, and participating in initiatives that celebrate and amplify diverse perspectives within the Wikimedia community. My commitment to consensus-building is reflected in my efforts to find common ground and facilitate understanding among community members with varying viewpoints.
