What region(s) of the world do you have experience with, and what kind of experience do you have? (“Experience” can mean you have lived or worked there or are currently living or working there; you’re familiar with the culture and language; etc.) I am from Nigeria, a country in Sub-Saharan African Region where I have lived most of my life, I have worked across different diversity and languages in Nigeria as an eye doctor, As a serial volunteer for Young Africa Leadership Iniative for Kwara State and Ondo State,Nigeria and an alumni Young Africa Leadership Iniative for West Africa , I have worked with people with different cultural background. I have visited Poland for the Wikimania katowice conference where I get to meet people from Europe and some other regions whom I had interacted with virtually in the Wikimedia movement for about 3 years
What Wikimedia project(s) do you actively edit? And in what language(s)? I am an active editor on English Wikipedia with over 100 articles created. I am a Wikipedia Teahouse host and a reviewer for Article for Creation

While English Wikipedia is my home wiki, I am also an active editor on English Wikiquote and English Wikibooks

What affiliate(s) are you actively involved with? In what capacity are you involved? Do you serve in a leadership role or have you in the past? I am a board Member for [Wiki Project Medicine],a wiki thematic organization where I work alongside other members in making decisions and ensuring health contents are curated on the free space. Aside that, while I don't hold an official role in Wikimedia Nigeria User Group, I am an event organizer where I have carried out Wiki and Health Article Project, Wikimedia Promotion in Akure and a core organizer for WikiClimateCampusTour Nigeria and voluntarily assist in the grooming of newbies thereby contributing to the work of the affiliate as an active member.
Have you served on any committees (movement-related or otherwise)? And what was your role on the committee(s)? I am an advisory member of Wikiwomen* Council where I work alongside other advisories in setting up the Wikwomen* Task force in ensuring gender balance within the free movement.
Please describe any experience you have with conflict resolution and/or consensus building. Utilizing the skills of collaboration and taking initiatives, effective communication, I have championed consensus building in my roles as a board member for Wiki Project Medicine, advisory body for Wikiwomen* council and event organizer
In your ideal world, what does the affiliate model and ecosystem look like? I believe volunteers and editors are the major human resources for the sustainability of affiliates, continuous efforts should be put in place to build their capacity and broaden their knowledge within the movement. New affiliates should be supported to integrate and grow in a larger affiliates. Existing Affiliates should continue to collaborate on projects with minimal clashes and without concerns of hierarchy
In your ideal world, what are AffCom’s roles and responsibilities in relation to the movement and affiliates? The Affcom's roles are to serve as a bridge between the affiliates and the movement (Board of Trustees) by making recommendation for approval, recognition, derecognition of affiliates and conflict resolution within affiliates (chapters,thematic organization and Usergroups).
