According to the World Bank Group’s new Country Climate and Development Report (CCDR) for Ghana in November, 2022, On average, flooding affects around 45,000 Ghanaians every year, and half of Ghana's coastline is vulnerable to erosion and flooding as a result of sea-level rise. Many developing countries around the world are fighting to end the menace of climate issues in order to make the environment clean and healthier, and Ghana is no exception.

It’s important to address this issue to help raise awareness and advocate to achieve the goals in making our environment clean and healthy for all of us. In Ghana one of our main challenges as a country is keeping our environment healthy for everyone.

These series of photowalks will focus on capturing environmental images that depict the current state of Ghana’s environmental issues such as climate change, floods, fumes from vehicles, excessive burning of refuse/trash, improper disposal of refuse among others.

Also, these photowalks intend to capture the other side of environmental interventions by innovative individuals and organizations such as tree planting exercises, from trash to bin inventions by local social enterprises that seek to reverse the trend of environmental degradation among others.
