Description

edit

Climate change is one of the most pressing global challenges of our time, and renewable energy is a key part of the solution. The burning of fossil fuels for energy production is a major contributor to the release of greenhouse which traps heat in the atmosphere and leads to climate change. By transitioning to renewable energy such as solar and hydropower, we can significantly reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the impacts of climate change.

In Rwanda, like in many other countries, climate change poses significant threats to the environment and the economy, including risks to agriculture, water resources, and human health. However, the country has made significant progress in promoting renewable energy as a key solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the impacts of climate change. The country is making significant strides in expanding solar and hydropower capacity, as well as promoting energy efficiency and off-grid solutions.
