In this meeting, User:AshLin participated as he is standing for election for a Community volunteer seat on the Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation. His candidacy can be seen on this page - Wikimedia Foundation elections/2021/Candidates/Ashwin Baindur.
At the starting of meeting, Ashwin introduced himself to the participants. In brief, he is Wikimedian from 2006. He is from Pune and he had 32 years of civilian and military executive experience in the defence services as an engineer officer. He introduced himself that why he is standing in these elections and what are his thoughts about being at this position in the context of India. He had 30 minutes talk with community members.
After that, Jagseer gave update about the audio project. He said that proofreading has been completed of the selected books and Validation is being done. He has received the equipments to record audio books like mics and shields etc. After that, Satpal gave update about his work as community advocate that he is currently working on tutorial video which is about editing Wikisource and scanning.
