WikiProject Jalbodh is a contiuous ongoing project for building content related to water and rivers in Wikimedia Project. There have been series of events conducted from 2018 with organisations working in the sector. The partners include - Jalbiradari, Tarun Bharat Sangh, Neevit Nadi, Ecological Society, INTACH, Jnana Prabodhini etc. Paani Foundation affiliated organisations in Beed district of Maharashtra have taken initiative to document the stories of villages worked in watershed development programme. Jnana Prabodhini Ambajogai organised online training session for 8 volunteers on 17 August 2020.

editThis online session was conducted on 17 August between 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. The working of Wikimedia projects was explained in the beginning. The five pillars, manual of style and online/offline reliable resources were discussed. Then the plan of the project was chalked out with listing of new articles, existing articles and images to be added. The articles of villages were first created in Google doc and edited collectively. The volunteers were also trained in moving the content to sandbox and then in main namespace. The uploading of images on Commons was also done. This process will be replicated for other village articles. The articles created in the first phase are - जायभायवाडी, मांडवखेल, व्हरकटवाडी, and राडीतांडा. editThe series of bi-monthly online trainings are planned. The groups are formed on social media platforms for regular interactions.
