Women's Month Datathon on Commons
editWomen's Month Datathon on Commons was an online campaign that was a collaborative effort between CIS-A2K and the Commons Photographers User Group. This campaign started on 21st March and ended on 31st March 2023. The focus of the contest was to dedicate the activity to Women's Month to all the incredible women worldwide and make a part of this celebration. During the event, there was an online session to demonstrate adding suitable categories in existing images and adding depicts under-structure data. The participants worked on structure data, Categories and Descriptions for 10 days. Out of 34 interested participants, 13 users contributed to the activity. editWomen's Month Datathon on Commons Online Session happened under Women's Month Datathon on Commons which was a collaborative effort between CIS-A2K and Commons Photographers User Group. This campaign started on 21st March and ended on 31st March 2023. To train participants, CIS-A2K conducted an online session on 22 March 2023 and the training was given by CPUG. The session was online and the language of the session was English and Hindi. The total number of participants was 21 during the session. CIS-A2K/Events/Hindi Wikisource Community skill-building workshop
editCIS-A2K conducted an advanced-level Wikisource workshop to support Hindi Wikimedians User Group, continuous sustainable road maps, future plans, and GLAM development towards Wikisource project in respective languages. The series of Wikisource advance training was started with Punjabi Wikisource Community skill-building workshop, Assamese Wikisource Community skill-building workshop and recently happened in Kolkata for Hindi Wikisource community. The objective or aim behind the skill-building workshop is to promote, develop, strengthen, and support the collaboration between Hindi Wikisource users, to support sharing the knowledge, experience and best practices among participants, and offer a space to improve their skills, to discuss persistent issues and cherish each other’s work, to support the growth of Hindi Wikisource Community by connecting them with an experienced proofreader, to document the learning from various activities, which include projects, campaigns, events, etc. by community members in the past years, for later use, to strategize for the next few years, on how we can together shape up the movement in India and contribute to the growth of the South Asia region at large. Indic Wikisource Community Online meetup
editIndic Wikisource Community meetup was an online meetup which was organized to discuss and plan the coming Indic Wikisource proofread-a-thon April 2023. The call happened online only on 25 March 2023. The objective of the call was first all India-level online interaction, participate in Indic Wikisource proofread-a-thon April 2023, queries regarding Indic Wikisource proofread-a-thon April 2023, suggest anything regarding the Contest procedure gift and prizes for the contest selection etc. Indic Wikisource Community Online meetup read more...

editIndic Wikisource proofread-a-thon April 2023
editCIS-A2K has already been conducted Indic Wikisource proofread-a-thon April 2023 to enrich our Indian classic literature in digital format. It has been started on 1 April 2023 and end on 15 April. To promote the online activity to the Wikisource project this activity happened twice a year. On all Indic Wikisource, we have community chosen a short selection of classical texts to be proofread. Each page proofread will win points for the proofreader, as described in the Rule section. Every page helps and it is not necessary to complete any text within this editathon, just to add to the work done in making these available to all.
