Abstract

Let's discover together how to edit Wikidata! We will present the structure of Wikidata's data, we will lead you through editing a Wikidata item as well as a Lexeme, and present a few useful tools. After the session, we can answer all of your questions and help you getting started on the Wikidata helpdesk.

What will attendees take away from this session?

Inspired by the demonstrations, participants will have an overview of how they can start editing Wikidata and what they can do to improve the visibility of their favourite language.
