Hello there and thanks for writing this proposal, we discussed this as a team and realized the underlying issue here is that Cat-a-lot should be an extension. Do you mind re-wording your proposals to include this proposed solution? Once that's done, we'll mark it as Accepted so that it can go into voting. Thanks so much, NRodriguez (WMF) (talk) 18:52, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@USI2020 See the comment above. What we can offer is turning Cat-a-lot into a MediaWiki extension. This way, it can be offered to all users on all wikis, rather you having to install it first. Alternatively, we can simply archive this proposal as withdrawn if you feel Cat-a-lot suits your needs. Thanks, MusikAnimal (WMF) (talk) 21:09, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@USI2020: I am going to make this a proposal for turning Cat-a-lot into a MediaWiki extension. I will rename and move it and re-write some of the description to reflect this. I hope that is OK. DWalden (WMF) (talk) 13:12, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Note that, if converted into a server-side extension, it will probably mean that the following edits will be done by another dummy user and not by you, so these edits probably will not be counted anymore. This is good for me, but just to be known. --Valerio Bozzolan (talk) 14:41, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
