Make Special:GlobalWatchlist more discoverable

Problem: When I go to my preferences, I can set my global preferences, but I can not access my global watchlist. Many people do not even know about Global Watchlist (I did not know before today).
Proposed solution: I propose to add link to Special:GlobalWatchlist from Special:Preferences on every wiki. Currently, the only places to discover the Global Watchlist is only on Metawiki. We need to have a sidebar link to Special:GlobalWatchlist being displayed on Special:Watchlist on the other wikis
Who would benefit: Users who watchlist pages on multiple wikis

why do you think it is hard? Special:GlobalPreferences and Special:CentralAuth can already be accessed through Special:Preferences on every wiki. Why not make the same for Special:GlobalWatchlist? Heanor (talk) 21:32, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I'm the developer of the GlobalWatchlist extension and still have some grant money to work on it, but help from Community Tech would be appreciated and I would be happy to coordinate with them if they are willing to review.
