- Short description
Dharahara, a UNESCO world heritage site, also called Bhimsen Tower, was a nine-storey tower in Kathmandu. It was built in 1830s and collapsed in 1934 after an earthqake. It was fully restore at the behest of Prime Minister of Nepal Juddha Shumsher. On 25 April 2015 it collapsed again during another violent earthqake.
