Do you work with content partnerships today?
Example of partnerships: WHO, Osmosis, ECGepedia, Cochrane, Turnitin, Internet Archives.
What is your normal work process in collaborations with partners?
One criteria is if it’s useful to the Wikimedia movement. Software partners and content partners are contacted.
What are your desired content partnerships in the future?
Work more with Our world in data: https://ourworldindata.org/. Develop or use visualization like for example the map at Share of deaths from HIV/AIDS, 2017. This solution could be useful at Wikipedia/Wikimedia projects.
Are you having a work plan for new partners and collaborations?
Some issues with licenses can limit the choices of partners. Each collaboration works differently with goals and desires.
What are your needs for a successful work with partners?
Develop more ways to work with visualizations, an example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Doc_James/OurWorld#Average-price-of-a-pack-of-cigarettes.tab.
can be a visualization of the list in
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Data:Average-price-of-a-pack-of-cigarettes.tab.
Different ways to work with external data: Cranbrook – Travel guide at Wikivoyage (see data visualization in the map)
Use iFrame and the same map for different dataset to do different visualizations: Share of deaths from HIV/AIDS, 2017
What does the best support look like for a successful partnership?
The ability to do mass uploads and to have the possibility to work with programmers.
Do you know of someone in your network who would be interested in this kind of collaboration too?
