Breakfast Parliamentary
In 2022 we have in common with the Federal F5 4 Parliamentary breakfasts held in the German Federal Parliament: On the invitation from Tabea Roessner to DSA, on the invitation from Anna Kassautzki to Federal Transparency Act, on the invitation from Max Funkekaiser zum Violence protection law and on the invitation from Anke Domscheit-Berg to Chat control core the work in Parliamentary F5 is a structured dialog with politicians on digital policy issues, such as privacy and digital security, open data and transparency, or hate and incitement on the web. Parliamentary exchange formats are also planned in 2022, the next one in March.
Round Tables Public Service Broadcasting
Since 2018 Wikimedia Deutschland invites representatives from public transmission, politic, education and the creative sector to the Round Table, to talk about the use of free licenses in educational and knowledge programs. Always there: Wikipedia authors from the Wiki Loves Broadcast project. See also, for example, press release: Wikimedia Deutschland welcomes use of free licenses at Bayerischer Broadcasting.

Knowledge. Power. Justice. - In the beginnen of our 2021 we started to get busy with the series of event with the question the (New-)Distribution from knowledge and with this Power in the networked society What does access to knowledge and knowledge justice mean today and tomorrow? How can knowledge be organized via digital channels for the common good? And how can inequalities in knowledge representation be balanced out? The events continue the long-running series of talks "Wikimedia Salon: The ABCs of Free Knowledge. |

The ABCs of Free Knowledge - The Wikimedia Salon brought together experts from politics, culture, science and the net community from 2014 to 2021. Wikimedia Deutschland spelled out questions about the networked society and free knowledge in this special alphabet. The focus was therefore on topics and concepts that are important for the free creation and dissemination of knowledge. The concept: Usually after a thematic input, a moderated panel discussion followed as the core of the format, after which there was an opportunity for exchange on site. The ABC of Free Knowledge ended in March 2021 with an anniversary edition celebrating the 20th birthday of the German-language Wikipedia under the title "Z = Twenty years of Wikipedia - Where is the 8th wonder of the world control?". |

Monsters of Law - The legal event series all about Free Knowledge. The series of event Monsters of Law will call from the German Wikimedia in life, Germany was established to address legal issues related to free knowledge and its framework. In a dialog with experts, we want to take a fundamental look at topics such as free licenses, freedom of panorama, ancillary copyrights, and so upload filters. There is now also a spin-off of the series in Brussels at the Free Knowledge Advocacy Group EU, there of course on legal topics related to Europe. |

networks & politics - The event series creates space for discussions on the overarching issues of international network politics. The event series, jointly sponsored by the Center of Science from Berlin, Wikimedia Deutschland and ICANN, serves to, To engage actors from civil society and academia with an interest in international Internet policy and its impact at the national level in active exchange. The concept: panel discussion followed by open discussion with the audience and networking opportunities. |
