Decolonising knowledge
Decolonising knowledge in Switzerland is a project aiming at involving Swiss GLAMs, researchers, existing networks and volunteers in making open content related to colonisation, provenance, restitution, power dynamics and global critical perspectives available on Wikipedia and the Wikimedia projects, and engaging communities in improving articles and data.

This page documents a research project in progress.

The project focuses on a series of exhibitions organised in Switzerland in 2024-2025 as a starting point to engage GLAMs, researchers, existing networks and volunteers in improving Wikipedia and the Wikimedia projects.
