Digitization/Photograph digitization
Photographs are digitized either from negatives, slides, or prints. Slides and negatives must be backlit when being digitized.
Flatbed scanning of photographic prints

- Larger than A4: 300 ppi;
- A5 to A4: 600 ppi
- A7 to A6: 1200 ppi
- Under A7: 2000 ppi
Color depth: 16 bit (or 24 bit if colour is an important attribute of the item).
Format: PNG or TIFF (if TIFF, must be used with lossless compression)
