ESEAP Conference 2022/Report/Kunirasem
Things learned at the conference
edit- I learned that COVID-19 outbreak challenged ESEAP Communities so we really relied on the technology for good. Virtual could grab people as many as possible, but face-to-face meet ups is also important in communities.
- I realized that Wikipedia sister projects should be improved since I did not meet any contributor in Wiktionary as my current interest.
- I was inspired by Wikisource projects, both of documenting the books/manuscripts and reading test.
Things I contributed or participated in or since the conference
edit- I discussed and shared about ESEAP grants in depth with some applicants. I really enjoyed listening their journey and challenge in their communities.
- I presented my personal project called WikiSwara. Hopefully this project will inspire ESEAP colleagues to contribute more in Wiktionary and audio.
- I joined Wikimania 2023 discussion as I assigned in comms team (Core Organizing Team) and took a part for Wikimania teaser video.

edit- My community documented old books for Javanese Wikisource/Wikisumber, grants from Wikimedia Indonesia https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Indonesia/Dana_Wiki/GSF22_Permohonan_Komunitas_Wikimedia_Yogyakarta and just finished on 15th December 2022.
- I am trying my best as Wikimedia Yogyakarta community contact person, ESEAP grants committee, and Wikimania 2023 COT comms.
