As part of OFWA's goal to extend the reach of open movement in West Africa, a partnership was sealed with the University of Health and Allied Science to introduce students to Wikipedia and its sister projects. Read more…  In 2021, a university in northern Mexico took the decision to integrating Wikipedia in the academic curriculum. A new course is designed, including Media and Information Literacy skills and the development of the 21st century skills, using Wikipedia like a disruptive technology. Read more…  A new version of WikiFundi was recently released. It now operates in English, French, and Spanish. WikiFundi received the Open Infrastructure Award from OE Global in 2021. WikiFundi is a tool used in Education, such as during the WikiChallenge African Schools (see latest report on the Education Newsletter) Read more…  The inclusion of librarians in Wikipedia's activities created the spaces and learning in information services. The idea is to participate and contribute in enhancing authentic and accurate references in Wikipedia articles.  We started 2022 by celebrating the 18th anniversary of Ukrainian Wikipedia by organizing dozens of edit-a-thons across the country. School teachers, university professors, and students were some of the most active participants. Besides, this year we will also do our best to bring Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom program to Ukrainian teachers.
