Desde el 25 de noviembre (Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia contra la Mujer) al 10 de diciembre de 2023 (Día de los Derechos Humanos), te invitamos a participar de la Campaña 16 días de activismo contra la violencia de género, con especial foco en Defensoras de los Derechos Humanos.
En conmemoración del Día Internacional de las Defensoras de Derechos Humanos, el propósito es ampliar y mejorar el contenido en Wikipedia para visibilizar el trabajo fundamental que las defensoras realizan, muchas veces con escasos recursos y bajo graves amenazas. Esta labor va desde continuar denunciando la violencia basada en género, hasta organizar a las comunidades para proteger el ambiente y el territorio frente a proyectos extractivistas.
¿Cómo participar?
- Crea tu cuenta en Wikipedia o accede a la que ya has creado.
- Inscríbete al desafío de edición en esta página.
- Puedes elegir un artículo de la sección Artículos sugeridos o escribir otro que no esté en la lista, siempre y cuando sea relevante enciclopédicamente.
- Agrega imágenes libres a artículos que necesitan ilustraciones. Si vas a marchas, eventos y movilizaciones, documenta las acciones y sube fotos a la campaña #VisibleWikiWomen en Wikimedia Commons para visibilizar la lucha contra la violencia de género.

Información de la campaña
16 días de activismo contra la violencia de género es una campaña anual e internacional apoyada por la ONU para la erradicación de la violencia basada en género. Capítulos y grupos de usuarios de la región nos unimos a colaborar proponiendo editar contenido en las Wikipedia de idiomas de América Latina con especial foco en "Defensoras de los Derechos Humanos".
En este espacio informaremos acerca de las actividades y eventos que se estarán realizando desde el 25 de noviembre al 10 de diciembre de 2023 inclusive. Al desafío de edición sumaremos instancias para reflexionar colectivamente sobre cómo escribir sobre defensoras, sus causas y contextos desde una perspectiva de género basada en un enfoque de Derechos Humanos. ¡Les invitamos a participar!
