International Youth Day (IYD) 2023 celebrates Wikimedia youth and the entire Wikimedia community. It seeks to engage young people in different fun activities in the movement. We recognize the presence of youth and her work in the Wikimedia movement as well as the challenges they face in living the day-to-day life of a Wikimedia youth.

This International Youth Day, we want to acknowledge not just these difficulties but how we have risen above them and the Wikimedians or Wikimedia communities that stood by us in our wiki trying times. We want to cherish our strength, collaboration and resilience in the face of these diverse experiences.

We want you to join us to celebrate community and the people keeping it alive by participating in this year's International Youth Day.
