Organizer/trainer
edit- Mermoze Adodo Mermoze ADODO, a native of Benin and residing in the country, has been involved in the Wikimedia community since 2018 and is one of the founding members of the Wikimedians of Benin User Group. Since 2019, he has been actively involved in the local organization of the Wiki Loves Africa event. Since 2020, he has also been dedicated to verifying and evaluating images submitted to various competitions such as Wiki Loves Folklore, Wiki Loves Earth, and Wiki Loves Monuments. His goal is to enhance the visibility and utility of these images on other Wikimedia projects.
About the training
edit- Expected outcomes : you will be introduced to Wikimedia Commons tools and processes necessary for tagging and cleaning up after a major photo contest.
- Targeted audience : open to all editors of Wikimedia Commons. Everyone interested can join us. To take part, please register on this event page.
- Prerequisites : This program is medium level. Ideally, you will have an account on Commons, and have already uploaded images, and perhaps participated in any of the Wiki Loves Africa contests...
