For the day of March 24, we continued our training activities with the Librarians, focusing on several aspects of Wikimedia projects.

Firstly, we returned to Wikimedia Commons, where each participant had the opportunity to upload the images they captured during the March 23 outing, as well as other images from their hard drives. This activity enabled them to become more familiar with the process of uploading to Commons, and to enrich the database with diverse content.

Next, we continued our work on Wikidata by presenting a list of several well-known African writers who did not yet have a page on Wikidata. Participants contributed by creating new elements for these writers, increasing the representation of African literature on the platform.

Afterwards, we approached Wikipedia by providing a list of pre-established articles on various topics. Participants were given the opportunity to review these articles and suggest modifications or additions, thus reinforcing their editing and contribution skills on Wikipedia.

In addition, we introduced participants to Wikiquote, where they discovered the importance of quoting and documenting African proverbs and quotations, thus helping to preserve the region's cultural wealth.

Finally, we introduced participants to the Wikimedia Incubator, highlighting the importance of revitalizing African languages and encouraging their participation in this linguistic preservation effort.

These activities were very enriching for the participants, giving them hands-on experience on different Wikimedia projects and reinforcing their commitment to promoting African knowledge and culture on these platforms.
