Español: La Nebulosa de Orión (Messier 42, M42), se encuentra en la constelación de Orión a 1270 años luz y es una de las nebulosas más brillantes y bellas del cielo nocturno. Se trata de una región de formación estelar, donde nacen nuevas estrellas y sistemas estelares. La estructura de esta nebulosa se encuentra esculpida por un grupo de estrellas que liberan una gran cantidad de radiación conocido como "El Trapecio", este cúmulo de estrellas se encuentra en la zona central y más brillante de la imagen y recibe su nombre de la figura que forman sus estrellas.
English: The Orion Nebula (Messier 42, M42), located in the Orion constellation 1270 light-years away, is one of the brightest and most beautiful nebulae in the night sky. It is a star-forming region, where new stars and star systems are born. The structure of this nebula is sculpted by a group of stars that release a large amount of radiation known as "The Trapezium", this cluster of stars is located in the central and brightest area of the image and is named after the figure formed by its stars.
