Español: Las curvas de nivel siguen siendo una forma comprensible de representar el relieve. En la imagen se muestra la zona conocida como "la mecedura de los ríos" en el macizo del Cornión, en los Picos de Europa, donde confluyen los ríos Dobra, Junjumia y Pelabarda. Las curvas de nivel se han construido a partir de un modelo digital de elevaciones del Centro Nacional de Información Geográfica (IGN, CC-BY). Tiene un intervalo de 10 m y se ha añadido un tintado hipsométrico con un sistema de información geográfica (QGIS).
English: Contour lines are still a comprehensible way of representing relief. The image shows the area known as "la mecedura de los rios" in the Cornión massif in the Picos de Europa, where the rivers Dobra, Junjumia and Pelabarda meet. The contour lines have been constructed from a digital elevation model of the National Centre for Geographic Information (IGN, CC-BY). It has an interval of 10 m and a hypsometric tinting has been added with a geographic information system (QGIS).
