English: :A bird drumming and calling from a branch of dead ponderosa pine on a grassy hill next to a gravel road. Drumming occurs at 0:50 and 1:25.
This area appears to have suffered a fire in recent years since all the trees in this area were dead trunks. As a result, this area held a large number of woodpeckers, including hairy, lewis's, red-headed, and northern flicker.
