English: :Interaction calls from a pair of red-headed woodpeckers. This recording includes the individual from XC254600. After that recording another bird flew into the tree and there was some commotion. Eventually both birds flew off.
This area appears to have suffered a fire in recent years since all the trees in this area were dead trunks. As a result, this area held a large number of woodpeckers, including hairy, lewis's, red-headed, and northern flicker.
