English: :Winter vagrant. Singing very softly from the top of a deciduous tree in an urban cemetery. Previous to this recording it had been in a juniper tree. Immediately after the end of the recording, the bird flew off to the far side of the cemetery.
At the beginning of the recording there is a prominent flock of finches that sometimes obscure the solitaire's soft song. At about 1:10 the flock of finches flies off, making it much easier to hear the solitaire singing on its own.
Recorded with homemade parabolic reflector and Olympus LS-10S. Filtered low frequencies.
