| Description |
English: :This recording was made during a thru-hike of the Alta Via 1, where I noted and ebirded all birds seen and heard for the 12-day hike through the Dolomites. This is probably a very common species, but I am an American, unfamiliar with the local birds, and I never could get a look at the bird making this vocalization. The habitat was a small alpine meadow, with a small grassy pond, surrounded by woods (largely spruce). I could not tell if the call was coming from the pond or from the grassy meadow near the pond.
