English: :This plaintive, short whistle came from close range in very dense thicket scrub (habitat of Slaty Spinetail) in an area of guamil along the trail. It called just after a pair of wrens duetted (possibly Bay Wren, possibly Stripe-breasted Wren). Potentially this is one of the wrens calling, although it does not sound like a typical wren call. Reminiscent of a call of Plain Antvireo, but doesn't quite match. Possibly Streak-crowned Antvireo? Habitat didn't seem right for an antvireo.
