English: The central view of the historic Nalut Castle or Nalut Qasr, situated on the edge of the Nafusa Mountains, offers a stunning panorama overlooking the main road connecting Tripoli and Ghadames. Perched at an elevation of 640 meters above sea level, the castle is believed to date back to the 10th or 11th century AD. It consists of six floors, housing approximately 400 storage units built for preserving grains and olive oil.
