English: Oshun was a woman who truly belives in her own words and one of Sango (The god of thunder) wives, due to a traumatic occurrence she turned into a flowing river and after time immemorial people of that land have been worshipping this goddess. For the people in need she mercifully hear them.
This Indigenous Osun River Located in the South west part of Nigeria in Osogbo. It is a sacred and reserved area where dirt and other unlawful activities are not meant to take place. Inside the river they worship the ancestral Osun osogbo goddess and prominent people all over the world come to witness the feasts or celebration of the sacred River.
Osun River is a now renowned Tourist Attraction center where people home and abroad comes to visit the traditional and cultural heritage of the Yoruba Kingdoms.
