English: :Two widely-spaced calls from displaying pheasant at edge of prairie on the other side of the wooded grove from me. First call at 0:02, second at 3:06. Each call was accompanied by a jump into the air and fluttering wings (which I could barely see through the trees).
Recorded with parabolic reflector and Sony PCM-M10. Lower frequencies amplified slightly to compensate for effect of parabolic reflector.
