English: :High-pitched call from an bird within the branches of a fallen Quercus agrifolia on the border of an open field. I believe this call is what BNA calls the 'Lisp' call.
The bird was not seen while giving this call, but several Spotted Towhees were seen fleeing for cover into the branches of the tree (along with several California Towhees). See XC99803 for a very similar call.
