De Reguliersbreestraat is een straat in Amsterdam die tussen het Rembrandtplein en het Muntplein ligt. De straat is genoemd naar het Reguliersklooster (1394-1532). Dit klooster stond net buiten de toenmalige stadspoort de Regulierspoort, waarvan de Munttoren nog een restant is. In de Reguliersbreestraat is het Tuschinski Theater gevestigd. Voorts bevindt zich hier de Cineac, ontworpen door Jan Duiker. De tramlijnen 4, 9 en 14 rijden door de Reguliersbreestraat. Wikipedia (Nederlands) |
