DescriptionSonus naturalis - Soundscape XC254830.mp3
English: :A barn swallow Hirundo rustica and a collared dove Streptopelia decaocto singing together.
The recording took place on 1st of April 2011 at about 6 in the evening.
The recording is in mono so I don't remember how close the birds were to each other and where exactly they were sitting. Probably on the electric wires or on the roof of the house.
Also the flight call of the collared dove can be heard as it approaches the barn swallow.
In the background house sparrows Passer domesticus and common swifts apus apus can be heard.
As I am blind I am not sure about the elevation so I am only guessing since it is required. Also I don't know if the birds were male or female. If anyone can understand by sound they can let me know.
It was recorded with the plextalk pocket, a device developed especially for blind people www.plextalk.eu.
The recording wasn't modified in anyway except of increasing the volume of it.
