Alisterus scapularis 1:16 flies closer and calls and flies away.
Group of currawongs with a variety of calls. Was overcast and had some brief drops of rain, followed by more rain later.
Not a lot of vocalizations due to the time of day.
Silenced some noise.
Normalized the whole thing, then sections outside of the loudest noises to boost background noise.
Recorded on a deck at the back of the house, about 5-10 m above ground. This is typical dry sclerophyll forest on a ridge with eucalypts and casuarinas dominating the canopy. There are intermittent creeks (more like ponds along the creekline as of Nov 2018) at the valley bottoms east and west about 200 m away.
