English: :Singing from perches atop tall grasses and forbs next to a wildlife viewing blind at the edge of the river. Quavering quality of the song suggests that this may be plastic song.
Many Z. querula present (up to 8 visible in this small patch at one time -- likely many more out of sight in the grasses). Junco hyemalis also present. Different flock than XC128721. I believe nearly all of the vocalizations in this cut are from Z. querula (though it's hard to be certain since the birds were hidden in grasses most of the time). Also includes several excited exclamations from my children ;)
Overcast and very windy. Recorded with Olympus LS-10S and Sennheiser ME66. Filtered low frequencies lightly.
