Bank Transfer-Worldwide
editHi {{ticket.requester.first_name}},
Thank you for your email and interest in supporting free knowledge. While the Wikimedia Foundation does not have a local bank account in your country, we do have two accounts that accept international transfers: https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Ways_to_Give/en#Bank_transfer
US Bank
Wikimedia Foundation Citibank 590 Market Street San Francisco, US 94104 415-982-2960
International SWIFT code CITIUS33 A/C# 203129580
European Union Bank
Wikimedia Foundation J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, N.A., London 25 Bank Street Canary Wharf London E14 5JP
Account number: IBAN GB49CHAS60924241034730 BIC CHASGB2L
A couple of things to keep in mind when making an international transfer:
1. The Wikimedia Foundation attempts to receive funds in your currency, but this is not always possible due to international and bank regulations.
2. The Foundation does not charge a transfer fee for donations, but this is something that your local bank may initiate.
We highly recommend checking with your local bank before initiating a transfer to make sure you understand any charges that you may incur by making a donation to Wikimedia. Thank you again for your support, and please feel free to contact us with any further questions.
Sincerely,

editHi {{ticket.requester.first_name}},
Thank you for your email. The Wikimedia Foundation collects and uses various personal information from donors that includes: amount donated, address, donor comments and e-mail address. Tax laws in the United States require The Foundation to keep contact information and contribution level of donors on file. For more information on what information we collect and how we use it, please visit: https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Donate/Donor_Privacy. Please note that we do not share, sell, or trade donor information with any other organizations or companies. We also have the option to unsubscribe from any future emails from the Foundation once you have received your initial tax receipt -- there's a link at the bottom of the email that takes you our one-step opt-out option. If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Sincerely,
