Wiki Team Building
editWiki Team Building was a three day event for members of GLAM Macedonia and EDU coordinators, taking place in the weekend of 22nd to 24th of October 2021. The event was held in Ohrid. The participants arrived on 22 October. The president of GLAM Macedonia Zana Shtrkovska officially opened the event at the evening hours. The participants introduced themselves, and the discussion started about the future projects of GLAM Macedonia.
On the second day of the project, there were various presentations related to Wikipedia, Wiki Clubs and ongoing projects. The first presentation was from Valentina Trajkoska, a Macedonian language teacher and principal of Secondary school in Skopje, who explained about her work with Wikipedia and how she educated the children from her school on using Wikipedia. The next presentation was that of Natasha Nedanoska, also a Macedonian language teacher, where she recounted her role in working with Wikipedia and Wiki Club Ohrid. Natasha was talking about activities of Wiki Club Ohrid, and also activities about partnership she made with various institutions and organizations in Ohrid.
In the afternoon, there was work with Wikipedia. The participants who didn't have user names, opened their own username and started to create articles on various topics. Participants were explained how to post images on Wikimedia Commons. There was a short presentation about public domain photos and copyright.
The last day of Wiki Team Building, on 24 October 2021, was opened by Stojna Arsovska-Donevska with her discussion related to problems coordinators met after pandemic started. Each of the participants gave their ideas and discussed what can be changed, handled differently or improved.
The event was closed before lunch time.
Meet Srpska 2021
editMembers of Wiki Club Staro Nagoricane were involved in an edit-a-thon on 30 October 2021. This activity was part of the project Meet Srpska 2021. The outcome was 5 participants who produced 9 new articles.
