Deliverables

Consultation meetings

  • Consultation meeting with developers and language community members to set right expectation and understand the priorites for development besides making both developers and langauge community memebrs to be on the same page around the understanding.

Participation in events

  • Participation in talks and panel discussions of the community members and developers for greater exposure of challenges around building an inclusive tech (in all aspects like gender, regional, and project representation).

Diff and other blog posts

  • Recording and archiving the sessions for future reference and accessibility;
  • Releasing program-end reports with stats on various project developed/bugs fixed/patches done/new project ideas and open space for collaborations/improvements for the same.

Organising events

  • Organising Wiki Technical spaces Awareness workshops in educational instituions where electronics and software engineering related courses are taught to gather the target tech pool of people interested in volunteering;
  • Introduce WikiClubs at engineering and tech educational instituions with proper mentorship program, project and end program academic credits upon successful completion;
  • Host online webinars or workshop series/course on topics such as project management, software development best practices, and inclusivity in tech for reaching a broader audience of Global Majority developers;
  • Introduce small technical developments and imrpove language community's undertsanding around tech (like scripts, bugs, tool usage and reporting issues) and bring out memebrs who are interested in programming/development in the long run.
