Why are you interested in the interim GRDC and what can you contribute? (max 1000 characters) My membership with Wikimedia is recent; I joined late 2024 The vision of Wikimedia to preserve cultural artefacts and heritage is of immense importance to human history. Without culture and history the human race will lose their identity that makes us unique and progressive in our trajectory toward newness. With my training in global literature and my contribution toward yoruba literature, I am passionate about show casing the rich cultural heritages across the globe. Also my recent foray to leverage technology in the tourism space makes me keen on the success of the Wikimedia project which will further fuel the accessibility of global cultural heritage to teeming travelers seeking new experiences. As an experienced project management strategy implementation professional, I will be bringing my skills to bear in crafting initiatives and prioritising project portfolios that drive the achievement of the wikimedia vision. The framework to drive the GRDC will carter to processes, stakeholders, beneficiaries and lastly financing which are a foursome that are inseparable to deliver sustainable and viable value.
Please share any volunteering or professional experience relevant for the interim GRDC (role, organization, years) (max 1000 characters) As a project management professional, I have managed infrastructure projects for over 18years. These projects include the commercialisation of telecom infrastructure on powerlines as well as development of communication infrastructure within cities, schools in undeserved communities and universities. I am a volunteer of over 7years with Project Management Institute Education Foundation USA. A recipient of an award of excellence from the PMI chapter Nigeria. As a volunteer I have joined my peers in pursuing the SDG goals through community projects as well have facilitated project management skills among secondary school students.
Describe your skills and experience relevant to the interim GRDC (max 1500 characters) My skills in resource planning, project design, planning, implementation, scope, stakeholder and cost management and sourcing will enable me to be hands on in ensuring the goals of the committee are clearly defined and the optimal allocation of resources to ensure deliverables are met at the right time and budget

How do you think the GRDC could improve the current situation and which priorities do you think it should have? (max 1500 characters) With a framework that brings the contribution of various regions to the fore, there will be healthy rivalry that will motivate various regions to do more.
