Project idea

My project's objective is to study every candidate being shortlisted for the Content Editing group and filter out the best of them who will be Masters at such work and can provide the best service within short deadlines. Herein, candidates will be thoroughly examined on the basis of their knowledge on different places for Wikivoyage. They will be tested well and will get a short-term training on the Policies of working of Wikimedia after their selection into the Content Editing Group.

Project goals

• This project will aim at selecting superb personalities who have best of knowledge on different places and have good written skills.
• This project aims at fixing every article on Wikivoyage out to the best of resources on the basis of the place.
• The project's objective is to create a group of individuals who understand the value of creating a travellers' guide and must have very slim and steady writing skills.

Scope:

• I will be very much committed to my work and will stick to gain personalities who will be having soul interest in my Project goals and will work whole-heartily towards the improvement in each and every portion of Wikivoyage.
• I will keep sharing the Wikivoyage in each and every media and in a wide manner so as to fetch more of audience into the same.
• I will use my time wisely in examining able individuals who can be taken and appointed into the project.

Tools, technologies, and techniques

We will use every media out for accomplishing the project in a very short span of time. Mostly we will be using outreach, frequent meetings, social media very widely and other such relevant ways.

Intended impact:

This project will surely get every article edited in a very complete and productive manner. Every place within India will be taken into consideration and will be properly studied for every bit of travel accomplishment.

Target audience

• The impact will completely be on the ones who will try to get tips of travel from Wikivoyage. The best edited articles will bring them joy travelling and will surely gain more of audience through such way.
• With Editing group selection, we will also be promoting the goodwill of Wikivoyage on a vast platform which obviously will fetch more of audience.

Sustainability

After the accomplishment of this project, I will be aiming at increasing and covering more areas in the globe and will expand the team/group within the Globe such that every other area other than the home country, India can be covered under my project.

Measures of success

• If I find every page of places belonging to India is complete and is perfectly edited to my best of knowledge, then only I will be satisfied that the project is accomplished.
• Next to it I will be continuously making a survey of the number of individuals using Wikivoyage for their travel purpose in India. If the increase in audience comes up to 5000 users per month, through my project, I will be satisfied with my project.
