Project idea
editWhat is the problem you're trying to solve?
editThe aim of WikiTeched is to provide a common platform to all the computer science students all over the world. The project will involve wiki pages for each and every field of computer science and all the programming languages. Each page will comprise of the tutorials in form of text and videos. An IDE will be provided which can accept codes in all languages and a discussion forum to discuss all the errors and doubts. There will be a tech page which will report and provide description about the latest technical development in the field of computer science and other computer science students can get to know about it sitting in any part of the world. An account holding user can be a student, a professor or a newbie. The members can take test and prove their hold in their field of interest and on that basis WMF can pick up students to contribute in their projects. This project will unite people from all parts of the world on the same platform and give a new dimension to the technology.
What is your solution?
editMy proposed solution would be to collaborate with various organizations across the world to provide textual and video tutorials in maximum languages possible. Create an IDE for all the languages and a discussion forum which can translate the comments of other users to the language desired by the user.
Project goals
editWMF can profit a lot from the students who register in Wikiteched as the students can contribute to Wiki projects in the field of their mastery.
