Currently only 10% wikipedia admins are women, not sure about this though.

editWhat is the problem you're trying to solve?
editonly 20% women editors in wikipedia
What is your solution?
editActual required is 50% admins to be women, but a fraction less that is 1/3 reservation of women for admin posts should help inspire women to edit wikipedia. So add as many women future admins to wikipedia administration so that they reach 33% proportion.

editQuotas for women worked in Parliaments all over the world, this idea is spot on. --Luxxxbella (talk) 16:57, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- Agreed. There should be quotas on all levels of administrators on Wikipedia. For example Mark Berstein who seems to be involved in a recent banning of women editors notes that it was a group of 11/14 who identified as male. Would the cases been judged otherwise if their had been more women, i don't know. Frederika Eilers (talk) 20:35, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
- Agree, have more women admin means have more diversity of views, opinions etc and could calme conflicts. But I don't know if doing this with a percentage reservation should be the way. For example, acording to a WMF & some universities 2011's research, only 10% of editors are female; how can we reserve 33% for sysops? Camelia (talk) 15:07, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
