Project idea
editWhat is the problem you're trying to solve?
editPromoting mature graciousness, objectivity, and a less doctrinaire attitude that requires mature judgment and flexibility at times, and shuns gratuitous offense. Lifting these up as high values for all editors, as they are now for most.
What is your solution?
editIf we need awards at all, then have a more high-level committee award them on a very restrictive basis, allowing for recommendations from editors.
Project goals
editLifting up the true spirit of Wikipedia and not leaving this to editors and their personal bent. This would pertain more to harassment that's not perceived as such by those involved in it.

editOpposition
edit- Strong oppose "If we need awards at all, then have a more high-level committee award them on a very restrictive basis, allowing for recommendations from editors." This is the equivalent of having to go to the town hall to get permission to give my neighbor some flowers for trimming my lawn. That is to say, suffocatingly bureaucratic nannyism. --Doveofsymplegades (talk) 12:56, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
