edit- I do not think I have actually faced the problem of women/girls being bullied for gender (I did see the opposite thing though, actually surprisingly) but in general as long as it's just some tips for newbies on workshops it sounds good. I know that some girls try to hide gender to not possibly have such bullying and if not all girls are able to come to this idea by themselves then it's worth mentioning. Otherwise, if it is some more technical proposal I would not support it (but unlikely, as I would say Risssa is 80% a female username as it ends with a vowel, so as you haven't changed it yet you are not speaking about any enforcement) --Base (talk) 15:50, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- Both good ideas. Lack of assertiveness is not only a problem among women but it may well be more pronounced among women who try to edit Wikipedia than among men. So I support this proposal.--Greenrd (talk) 11:50, 12 June 2016 (UTC)
- This is in no way whatsoever unique or endemic to gender.Smuckola (talk) 08:34, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
