Project idea
editWhat is the problem you're trying to solve?
editAttract more PhD level experts and/or researchers to WP and REWARD them for their work/research
What is your solution?
editAdvertise this program. Select people (100 persons per year max.) in a transparent manner and explain how people get selected for those PhDs. Ask Universities to participate (they will grant those PhDsǃ). Explain the rules, ask for their inputs during the process for selecting potential candidates. Develop tools (as needed) to track and find these people thru all WP projects. Make the list public so as to encourage more PhD level editors and experts :)
Project goals
editImprove and expand WP articles by bringing more expertise to articles and latest updates/know-how. Make WP the primary reliable source for scientific and technological topics (including social sciences, economics etc.) Increase FA articles as a consequence.
Get involved
editShare or donate patent idea for free? Give patent ideas to WP foundation as a source of income. This could even lead to technology start-up(s)ǃ (hardly kidding - available for concrete example/specifics/my own experience)
Expand your idea
editWould a grant from the Wikimedia Foundation help make your idea happen? You can expand this idea into a grant proposal. Yes for those (from the Wikimedia Foundation) who need to develop tools or travel to Universities in their respective countries to make such arrangements (once the overall rules are clearly defined.) Add more technical/art schools along the way as needed..
