More to learn
editFurther details about what I would like to learn.
Gadgets, user scripts, Abuse Filter/Research skills (general research skills but also research related to Wikimedia projects)/Identifying & approaching prospective partners
These are the areas I think I still would need to further improve. Being able to learn this thing would not only help me but also the community I serve.
Stories about sharing
editInteresting stories about applying the skills I want to share.
Skills that enable individuals and communities to cultivate more inclusive and safe environments online and offline (empathy, communication, handling harassment, non-violent communication, and conflict transformation on Wiki and offline (with teams/within communities)/Methods and tools for qualitative evaluation (focus groups, interviews, surveys, story-telling, case studies, mapping participants’ journeys, participatory evaluation methods, etc) I have come from an unhealthy community and while I was slowly transitioning into a new environment, I assured that everyone who would choose to belong on our community will be protected, well-represented, and will be aware of their rights as members. While I usually track the progress of my campaigns using wiki tools, I have come to know that not all results are measurable by these applications. Some interesting insights would come directly from the participant's experience, from their struggles and take-aways. With this, every time I am on the reporting stage of my projects, not only I was able to quantitatively measure the impact of the campaign, but I was also able to create a great story to tell to the community, to inspire the aspiring editors.
