We would like to hold a series of presentations about Wikipedia to interested groups of people and students, including schools, colleges, libraries and specialized associations of experts.

Project goal

The goal of this projects is to introduce schools and colleges students and interest people to Wikipedia and involve them in editing.

Measures of success

We will consider this project a success if we can hold at least seven presentations during the entire course of the event.

List of activities

We would like to hold a series of presentations about Wikipedia to interested groups of people and students, including schools, colleges, libraries and specialized associations of experts.

Budget

The budget available from Wikipedia will be used to produce materials for presentation, rent projector and catering foods and pay travel expenses for volunteers during the event.

1)We might like to ask Wikimedia Nepal's help in providing us with presentation material that has been used or is currently used for presentations.

2)Requesting permission to use Wikimedia's marks and logo.

1)We have 10+ quality of volunteers contributing their time to coordinate the event.

2)We have secured an agreement with 3 schools and 1 college to organize the event and we are under agreement with some more schools and organizations as well.

3)We have receive butterfly feedback from community leaders.

4)Volunteer as well as the schools and the college(those already agreement-ed) are much more excited for the event.

Impact

This project will enhance the Wikipedia reach in the hands of hundreds of schools and college's students and promote Wiki among youths in in several places of Nepal.
